information and application
MEROX is a powerful, and safe acid cleaning agent which is a substitute for
hydrochloric acid.
MEROX removes quickly cement residues and lime-scale from almost all kind of
surfaces like frontages, tile paving, window-silks, thresholds, window frames and stairs.
MEROX is also very suitable to remove oil, grease and nicotine spots out of
concrete, tile paving etc., and to remove merbau-blood.
MEROX has a pleasant and does not produce harmful vapours.
Directions
Apply MEROX with a brush or a low pressure spray (S-5VD) on the surface to be
treated. Depending on the pollution MEROX can be diluted as follows:
- Slight pollution 1:10
- Medium pollution 1:5
- Heavy pollution 1:1
Leave MEROX to activate for 5 to 10 minutes after being applied, if possible
brush afterwards and rinse thoroughly with water. Rinse stainless steel immediately after
treatment with water. Repeat treatment if necessary. When treating very porous surfaces we
advise to moisten these with clean water before.
MEROX can not be used on calcareous materials like marble and travertine,
galvanised zinc, and coloured plastic surfaces. Some kinds of chromium, aluminium,
stainless steel and enamel on steel can discolour. Test first on a not striking place and
cover with plastic if necessary.
