DESCALER HG is a modern decalcifier for removing lime-scale and sludge out of cooling and heating systems, air-conditioning, central boilers and coffee makers.

A treatment with DESCALER HG reduces costs. A lime scale layer of 1/32" in a circulation system can reduce the heat transfer by 20%, this could cost some hundred of pounds yearly on energy and maintenance costs.

Because DESCALER HG is highly concentrated, it is very effective with small amounts, and by this is very economical in use. Four litre of DESCALER HG has the power to remove 4 kg. Lime-scale (4 litre decalcifier based on hydrochloric acid does not have the power to remove 1 kg. lime-scale).

In contrast to decalcifiers based on hydrochloric or sulphamine acid, which attack steel, aluminium, copper etc., DESCALER HG can be safely used on all surfaces. A solution of DESCALER HG can remain for 48 hours in a system, without attacking it.

DESCALER HG has a colour code through which can be determined if the system is sufficiently decalcified or if the product is saturated.

Directions

Depending on the pollution DESCALER HG can be diluted as follows..

• Heavy lime-scale deposits 1:10
• Normal lime-scale deposits or periodical Maintenance 1:20

Leave DESCALER HG to circulate in the system for a maximum of 48 hours, remove DESCALER HG out of the system, flush with clean water and set the system in operation. When the red/brown colour changes into green, the product is saturated and then possibly some lime-scale is left in the system and to fill it with a new solution.

DESCALER HG is not suitable to use on galvanised and zinc surfaces.
